Tokyo is Never Boring part 2 - Harajuku

The best way to enjoy Harajuku is to first walk down the posh shopping street of Omote Sando Dori.

You soon arrive at the archway to the main pedestrian street of Takeshita Dori dense with the crowds of Harajuku

Unlike Omote Sando, here you can find some inexpensive, frivolous shopping.

People watching is the main draw in Harajuku, to see and be seen.

Harajuku is one of my fave areas. Things actually look *milder* than when I hung out there 20 years ago. How is that possible???

These are great. I just added Tokyo to my list of places to visit before I die. :)

The photos are terrific, but what makes it outstanding is your insight and commentary.

How cool!! We really should have the equivalent of Harajuku in Mexico…unfortunately, still people here are not as daring in terms of fashion as Harajuku people, and it just would be so much more fun!!! Can’t wait to visit Tokyo!
